Paris, France – September 7, 2012
Live demos Powered by Qosmos will be shown by Advantech, Emerson, Radisys and Wind River
Network Intelligence technology provider Qosmos (www.qosmos.com) today announced that it will present the DeepFlow™ Probe for cybersecurity and optimized support for the Intel® Data Plane Development Kit (Intel® DPDK) in the ixEngine line of next-generation DPI software at the Intel Developer Forum, September 11 – 13, 2012 at Moscone West Convention Center, San Francisco, USA.
Qosmos ixEngine is the only ready-to-use Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) software development kit to natively support Intel® DPDK, accelerating time to market for advanced mobile, cybersecurity, and network applications. Qosmos technology delivers visibility into data crossing networks by identifying, extracting and querying specific information with unparalleled precision and detail. This visibility into data flows, coupled with the high-performance packet processing in the data plane enabled by Intel® DPDK, greatly improves the performance of network-centric applications such as policy control, traffic optimization, and next-generation cybersecurity systems.
Qosmos DeepFlow Probe is a ready-to-use 1U appliance that uses ixEngine software for DPI analysis. Bridging the gap between NetFlow and full-packet capture, DeepFlow classifies network traffic into organized flows, describing the protocols and relevant metadata in real time. This metadata is streamed out from the probe in one of several export protocols, Syslog, IPFIX, or JSON, to a system of choice.
Qosmos will present live demos of its technologies at booth no. 430.
