Who we are
Qosmos provides software and hardware platforms that identify and extract information traveling over networks in real time with unparalleled precision and depth. Qosmos network intelligence technology has been designed for use across a wide range of applications such as lawful interception, data retention, regulatory compliance, content-based billing, audience measurement and network optimization. Using Qosmos platforms, Network Equipment Manufacturers, Software Vendors and System Integrators can enhance their solutions with detailed network intelligence to better monetize, optimize or protect networked information.
Established in 2000 by members of the Computer Research Laboratory in Paris (LIP6), Qosmos is a privately held company backed by leading venture capital firms Sofinnova Partners and Alven Capital, and research organization GfK Group.
In 2007, Qosmos received Deloitte Technology Fast50 France and Fast500 EMEA awards, demonstrating the company’s high growth and leadership in both the French and European technology sectors. Qosmos’s appliance product line won the 2007 InfoVision Award from the International Engineering Consortium (IEC) in recognition of the company’s innovative Information eXtraction technology, and its contribution to the telecommunications industry. Qosmos was named a finalist of the Red Herring 100 Europe award in March 2008 and received the Intel Venture-CHINICT Rising Star award in May 2008.
