Thibaut Bechetoille, CEO

Thibaut Bechetoille, CEO, QosmosThibaut joined Qosmos in 2005. He played a decisive role in turning Qosmos into a fast-growing company and industry leader in network information extraction, acquiring significant client references globally.

He brings more than 20 years of global executive management experience with leading IT companies, both in the United States and Europe. Prior to Qosmos, he founded Maiaah!, a Virtual Private Networks Service Provider, where he acted as CEO until the company was acquired by Easynet in 2002. From 1992 to 1998, he was General Manager of Wellfleet/Bay Networks France, taking the business from 0 to $70 million, and then he was appointed Director, EMEA Channels, for Nortel Enterprise Solutions. Thibaut started his career in the Silicon Valley, as Software Engineer, then Product Manager, for Bridge Communications. After the company merged with 3Com, he became Marketing Director, Southern Europe.

Thibaut holds both a Masters degree in Engineering from ENSIMAG (French Engineering University in Information Technology) and an Executive MBA from HEC Business School.

Jérôme Tollet, CTO & Co-Founder

Jérôme Tollet, CTO & Co-Founder

Jérôme is responsible for research, development and innovation at Qosmos. His strong technical expertise stems from several years’ immersion in Network Intelligence and Deep Packet Inspection technologies. He is the inventor and principal software architect of Qosmos’s Information Extraction engine.

Jérôme obtained his Master’s degree in Computer Science from a joint degree program of Pierre and Marie Curie – Paris 6 University, and ENST Paris (French Engineering University for Telecommunications). With a wide experience in computer systems and network architectures, Jérôme is a frequent speaker at international conferences.

Patrick Paul, Vice President, Customer Operations

Patrick Paul, Vice President, Customer Operations

Patrick drives Qosmos’ pre- and post-sales activities as well as training and professional technical services. He manages a team of field application engineers and customer support specialists in charge of providing relevant expertise on architecture and systems design, software integration and porting.

Patrick brings over 20 years of experience in networking design and operations including integration work and high level technical consulting for defense and electronics architectures. Prior to Qosmos, Patrick was Customer Services Director and Product Line Manager at 6WIND. Previously, he was in charge of the network software department at Thales and conducted advanced studies for new generation military networks. He also worked as Network Manager for Dassault Electronique.

Patrick holds a Master of Science degree from ESEO (French Engineering University in Computer Science) and an Engineering degree from ESE (French Electrical Engineering University).

Erik Larsson, Vice President, Marketing

Erik Larsson, Vice President, Marketing

Erik drives all aspects of marketing, including company positioning, product marketing, communications and branding.

Prior to Qosmos, Erik served as Vice President of Marketing at Comverse, where he led marketing and communication for Netcentrex IP Communications. He had joined Comverse through the acquisition of Netcentrex, where he played a significant role in developing the company’s image and reputation as a leader in VoIP applications. Previously, Erik successfully managed marketing activities for Web hosting provider Integra, which later became part of Level 3. Erik’s experience also includes eight years at Nortel, with senior positions in international product marketing, solutions marketing, and marketing communications, across voice and data product portfolios. He began his career as a project manager at Telenor in Sweden and subsequently worked as a marketing consultant for the Swedish Trade Council.

Erik has published a number of articles in high tech media and is a frequent speaker at industry events. He holds a MS in Engineering Physics from KTH (Sweden) and an MBA from the Kelley School of Business (USA).

Jean Philippe Lion, Vice President, EMEA Sales

Jean Philippe Lion, Vice President, EMEA Sales

Jean-Philippe is a highly experienced sales and business executive with a solid knowledge of the telecommunications industry and a deep understanding of both the business and technical challenges faced by operators. Prior to Qosmos, he worked for 10 years in the SFR/Cegetel Group where he was successively Prospection and Development Director, DSL Program Director and Local Loop Division Director. Previously, he was part of the Telecom Division of Consulting firm Booz Allen & Hamilton, for whom he carried out consultancy missions throughout Europe for fixed and mobile telecommunications operators. He began his career as Business Development Director for an IT startup.

A graduate from ENST Paris (French Engineering University for Telecommunications), Jean Philippe also holds an MBA from INSEAD Business School.

Emmanuel Roger, Vice President, APAC Sales

Emmanuel Roger, Vice President, Asia Pacific & Japan Sales

Emmanuel brings over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, working with major network and telecom equipment vendors. Before joining Qosmos, he was Director of Strategic Alliances at Nokia Enterprise Solutions, where he was instrumental in setting up large OEM distribution contracts with major industry players such as Cisco and Alcatel. He was previously a member of the Corporate Business Development Group at Cisco Systems, where he was in charge of expanding the European market through strategic alliances and acquisitions in the VoIP, mobile telecommunications and NGN convergence sectors. Emmanuel also worked at Nortel Networks as Senior Engineering Manager. He began his career in Singapore as Regional Sales Manager for a telecom startup.

Emmanuel holds a Masters degree in Engineering from SUPELEC (French Engineering University in Information Science) as well as a Masters degree in Business from CNAM Institute of Management.

Gilles d'Aramon, Vice President, Americas Sales

Gilles d’Aramon, Vice President, Americas Sales

Gilles has more than two decades of experience in the networking and semiconductor industries. Prior to Qosmos, he spent 13 years with Cisco France, where he served as member of the management board. He has a strong record of managing double-digit sales growth as Sales Director for different sectors at Cisco France: Enterprise, Global Accounts, Public Sector, and Service Providers. Gilles began his career at Texas Instruments, where is was responsible for sales in South Africa.

Gilles holds an engineering degree in Physics from the Grenoble Institute of Technology (INPG) and a combined MBA from HEC Business School in Paris and the University of California at Los Angeles.

Imran Yusuf, Vice President, Business Development & Strategic Alliances

Imran Yusuf, Vice President, Business Development & Strategic Alliances

Imran is responsible for driving global business development and building strategic partnerships at Qosmos. He brings over 15 years of experience spanning both semiconductor and software companies. Previously, Imran served as Director of Global Alliances and Business Development at Wind River, where he led corporate strategy for semiconductor partnerships and developed key alliances with channel partners. In this role, he negotiated multi-million dollar deals and IP licensing agreements that contributed significantly to top line revenue. Prior to that, he worked at Intel in various engineering, business development and sales & marketing roles.

Imran graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with dual Masters degrees in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering. He also holds four patents related to microprocessor cooling and has published several technical papers.

Anh Nguyen-Phuoc, Vice-President R&D

Anh drives R&D activities in close collaboration with Jérôme Tollet, Chief Technology Officer.

Since he joined Qosmos in 2004, Anh has built and optimized the company’s R&D team, and implemented best-in-class development processes while keeping the flexibility required in fast-changing market. Anh has more than 15 years of software development and quality management experience. Before Qosmos, he held quality management and development positions at Business Objects (now part of SAP), and SLP InfoWare (acquired by Gemplus).

Anh holds a Masters degree in Engineering from Telecom Sud Paris, a French Engineering University in Telecoms Technology.
