Position Summary

Under the responsibility of the lead, carry out tests on the Qosmos product range. Implement and document tests and report test progress for the different projects entrusted.

Main Duties / Key Accountabilities

• Document tests and communicate progress reports for the projects entrusted
• Carry out validation tests on products and components respecting project deadlines
• Develop Test and Quality Assurance metrics, and implement Test/Quality Assurance techniques and tools
• Define, document and carry out manual and automated test plans of products
• Report any major problems to the Quality Assurance lead ASAP
• Provide regular activity reports to the QA lead

Key challenges

• Quickly assimilate and become operational on all products within the scope of the projects entrusted to you
• Gain a good understanding of the concepts and methodologies relating to Qosmos’ core activities.

Education, Training and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree at minimum, ideally Masters degree in Computer Science with specialization in Networks
• Good computing skills, working knowledge of IP, TCP/UDP protocols, SQL-like relational databases
• Solid grounding in Linux and open sources tools
• Good knowledge of computer hardware architecture
• Good working knowledge of C language, Shell script
